This page is going to be an archive for the Communist Labor Party of the United States of North America (CLPUSNA). The CLP was founded in Chicago, IL in 1974 after a split in the Communist Party (CP) in the 1950s in which Nelson Peery and others created the Communist League of California which later became the CLP. The CLP has it’s roots in the black worker movement of Detroit in the 1960s through the RUMs, and had a large Mexican worker membership from the CL days.
I believe this project is important in sharing and keeping alive the tradition of worker’s self activity and organization.
If you have any questions or would like to contribute to this page, which is still very much a work in progress, please email AK at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This page is dedicated to the memory of Nelson Peery and all our deceased revolutionary brothers and sisters who lived and breathed revolutionary politics into the world. The world is better for having you been in it.
